Really hard rock on the side of a highway. Parking is right off the side of the road and is limited to about 2 maybe 3 cars. The area is not very pretty because it's right next to a water reservoir for the rice field that's right by the rock. During the winter you may only get the smell, but during the summer bugs might be a pain. The routes range from a 5.7 to a 5.12a and are all sport routes. Some of the anchors are newly replace, but some are a bit older. You may want to bring some throw away carabiners to use as anchors. There are around 10 routes in all. All in all a good spot to climb for a quick weekend day climb.

Getting There

Take 21 to 15 S towards Mokpo. Exit at 22 After toll booth turn left. Stay on NEW 22 till after the tunnel. Turn right at first light after tunnel. Follow road around to left. Take left at intersection. This is 743. Follow 743 until T intersection. Turn right. Stay straight till you see climbing area on right. Maybe about 1 mile.

All of the information I'm providing is coming from either first hand experience,, or a book called Climb by Dong-il Ryou. If you're planning on climbing in Korea, I highly encourage you to visit the website or message someone on there to order you a book and send it to you. There are also several facebook groups. Search for "Korea climbing calendar" on Facebook for a lot of great information.
