Grosse Cirspitze from Groednerpass road.

The Grosse Cirspitze is a shapely mountain that is almost at the Groednerpass. The principal climbing routes are South facing, and descent is facilitated by an easy Klettersteig (via Ferrata). The most sought-after climb is the "Via Demetz," at UIAA Gr.V (5.7/5.7+), which follows the Southeast Arete.

Getting There

From Wolkenstein to the Dantercepies Gondola station and the next gravel road to the East. Park and follow a steep path to the base of the peak.

Climbing Season
