The highway from Selva (Wolkenstein) to Covara delineates the Northern boundary of the Sella Group. Everything to the South belongs to the Sella. For organizational purposes the routes listed here are all on the Northern faces of the Sella Massif (south of the road) from the top of Gardena pass down to the town of Corvara. Routes on the opposite side of the road belong in the Odle group. Routes on the West faces of the Sella group (driving from Sella Pass to Gardena pass) should be listed in the Sella pass area of this section.
From Canazei drive up to Sella pass, then down the hill to the first junction in the road and then drive back up the road to Gardena pass. The routes will be on the right as you come up over the pass (the North faces of the Sella Group).
Driving directions from Wolkenstein/Selva: Initially follow the Sellapass route from Wolkenstein until a road junction is reached; clearly marked "Groednerpass." Turn left and go up the hill to the pass.
