Is this supposed to be an ad for your site, or for Petzl's stupidly expensive Freino carabiner? Jeff Thomas

Uhh...
Added friction, like the 'Lizard says: biner on the leg loop--this is what my 80lb 13yo son does when he lowers me.

Ultimate Friction? add another biner to the belay loop & run the rope from the GriGri to the leg loop biner, then back up to the 2nd belay loop biner.

Use 2 Petzl Ange's and a William as your biners, and its still cheaper than a Freino, and much more flexible.

I like your thinking Matt...have you considered the transcendent friction option...second grigri on your leg loop? better back that up off a munter on your shoelace Rob Warden...Space Lizard

You can obviously do this with another carabiner in the belay loop. I use the GriGri a lot and opted to buy the Freino carabiner which has proven to be more than worth it for many applications.

Oh and the video is actually an advertisement for the band "One Tribe".
