Description

About 12 minutes west of Rock Springs, WY. Home to many routes not yet published online. Still lots of room for development. Rock here (sandstone) can be bomber but crumbly 5 ft later so it is really hit and miss. Don't let that discourage you from climbing here though. Great area for when passing through.

Getting There

Approach from east or west via I-80.

While approaching from the West on the Ridgeline, you'll take the lightly worn trail that leads directly to the base of the wall. The obvious slabby crack runs up and to climbers left. About 70' up you'll see bolted chains as the the first anchor (3 bolts/chains as of August 2017). End of second pitch let's out to a 10' ledge where you can untie and walk to the summit about 100' east. 1 rope needed....[more]   Browse More Classics in Wyoming
