Description

Trad climbing area. A relatively short wall. Rock quality is marginal to poor.

Getting There

Drive to Grapevine Springs in Big Bend. Take Grapevine Springs Road for 6.7-8 miles, passing the Grapevine Hills trailhead. Look for the pullout with the big split boulder. From this point the Dorsal Fin should be obvious. Scramble up to the base.

I had filled in a bunch of routes to this section that seem to have all disappeared. This is the 2nd time I've had several routes stripped out after spending valuable time writing route descriptions. Why do I even bother?
