Description

Residential area with several roadside boulders, some in the woods. Under development.

As you enter the area from Hooksett road, you'll see several ledges 15-25 feet high. Stay off of these rocks to preserve access. Rock quality is pretty bad out here and though there are no signs, assume that the residential complex considers the high rocks to be a liability risk. I have not been yelled at or questioned for screwing around on the smaller boulder-sized problems on the Shannon Road.

Test your holds as I've had several chunks of rock break off in my hand. If you're helping develop the area, look around in the woods for climbable boulders. Please stay out of people's yards.

In all, this is a pretty trash area - I go here to get a quick sesh in on my lunch break. Expect chossy, weak rock that has been drilled/blasted apart. If you find anything decent in here please contribute!

Getting There

Hooksett Rd, Going N:
Take a right into Granite Hill Villages. Ledges that probably will get the cops called on you will be on your left. Take your first left onto Shannon Road and you'll see some climbable stuff to your left and right before you hit Heathrow.

Hooksett Rd, Going S:
Take a Left on to Shannon Rd. Entrance boulder looks interesting. Ledges that probably will get the cops called on you will be on your left. Crawl through the neighborhood until you pass Heathrow on your right. Keep your eyes open for anything that looks interesting - some climbable rocks will be on your left and right.
