Just reminded me of that route when I saw Metanoia yesterday.
How often is that route climbed? every 8+ years? apart from Alex, has it been repeated?

There's Endangered Species that's been done, sharing the bottom sections.

Sorry Luc, I should've given an answer.. Yes GITM has been repeated. You know a few local guys that have completed the whole thing. I want to say I heard them tell me it's one of those routes that you have to jump on the day it's in cause tomorrow it could melt out.

I couldn't tell you how much GITM gets done. I never hear it mentioned at the bivy or the Mountaineer. I can say that..
