This may be a common thread, but does anyone have recs for sweet crags & camping around the Southeast?

To widdle it down a bit:

-Not looking to pay for camping (dirtbagging it)
-Love longer moderate trad climbs
-Looking at Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia mostly
-2 whole months - October & November
-Also looking for partners, but I'll start lining that up later

I've only ever climbed at T-Wall. That place is amazing. I'll be back there for sure.

Any info is helpful, thanks in advance!

T-wall is great to crag and camp. If you're looking for some longer routes and don't mind a little bit of chossaneering, Suck Creek Canyon has some fun multi-pitch routes. I'd recommend bombs away eli poss

Linville Gorge and Looking Glass. Let me know when you're in town, and I could show you around Linville and the NC High Country Brian Abram

BITD Camp Slime at the end of the road into Panthertown. Easy access to Laurel Knob, Big Green, Woody Wall and the rest of Panthertown, you could easily spend a couple of weeks. However, the last I heard the land there was for sale and while I'm sure there is an easement for access, camping may now be problematic. Worth checking on that though. Jim Corbett

Thanks again guys. A few pointers here can totally steer a trip in the right direction.

I heard about break-ins at T-Wall on SECC. Sux. But I will sit down and check out all these places, much appreciated!!

+1 for the Obed. World class Sport and Bouldering. Dale at the Lilly Pad is a great host. $5 a night or dale is open to let you camp long term in exchange for some manual labor around his property. He'll also prob invite you in for some brews.

You can backcountry camp for free in the obed just get a permit from the Nps first but the Lilly pad is well worth 5 bucks.
