Description

This area is on the edge of the State property high up on the cliff/hill. The imprudent boulder is great. There are a bunch of other climbs around it that have not been climbed.

Getting There

Turn right on the Blue trail after the bridge. Follow the Blue trail as far south as it goes. Start bushwhacking directly up the hill and talus towards the cliff following the edge of the [property line demarcated by signs and an old stone wall. The Imprudent boulder will be facing you as you hike up. It sits in a small depression. This area is slightly south of the bolted sport routes in the area.

Starts sitting on the far right side of the boulder in the obvious jug. Traverse left into another jug (this hold is detached but wedged in tightly. I tugged on it and hung on it and it seems fine). Climb left and up into a tricky mantle....[more]   Browse More Classics in Connecticut
