Top of Stanage Plantation


Lying at the center of the edge is this find example peak gritstone. The gems of the area can be found towards the north section in and around Goliath's Groove. Endless cracks and imposing aretes can keep you occupied for days, weeks and years.

A delicate, seemingly endless climb up the broad, tall Tower Face. The two main sections are incredibly varied and make this a rewarding HVS. Start up easy ground to gain a thin, curving crack. Balance up this to a good undercling and a poor right-facing flake. Move up the flake and make a strenuous crux move to a left-facing flake out right.
