BETA PHOTO: Cougar Crag, showing Golden Buttress

Another line that is quite fun but could be way better with some traffic. Start up a gully/chimney. A bolt on the right side protects face moves to a crack. Crack to top of wall. Climb corner above to easier terrain. Climb buttress above (many options) to the top.

Worth noting that you can rap off down the buttress and then continue down the face beneath (climber's right of the route). Good bolted anchors as with most routes on Cougar.

Base of steep gully with a bolt about 30 feet up on the right side that leads to two cracks. Golden Buttress is the right crack (splitter).
