This is supposed to be 5.9 as a top rope, but that...

The only real toprope area in Lincoln Woods, this area is located at picnic area 9C. Unless you have very long slings or a static line, trad gear is needed to setup for toproping. Will add more here very soon...

Getting There

Drive or walk to picnic area 9C, can't miss the large cliff.

I can't think of one. Zero Gravity is the hardest one I remember. I just started climbing during the time Ed was putting these routes up. I remember being psyched when I was able to TR it. Unfortunately the routes here were out of commission for a long time afterwards from that knucklehead park ranger who kept pouring oil along the top.

Edit - Looking through Paul's Bairds notes he has 2 TR 12s listed. They are a little hard to decipher but I think they correspond to Zero Gravity and Latex Sheath (he is calling it the 'High Crack' variation to 'The Original Way' "At the horizontal crack head right" He also lists Ed's slightly easier Sheath variation as "Lower Crack "Start the same as Original Way. Just below High Crack, traverse right on a slightly lower crack to the nose. Hard climbing to the top"

It is a difficult to set up top ropes on this unless you bring trad gear.
