On the left-hand side of the main face of the Trailside boulder, there are two relatively juggy edges. Grab these and make a fairly height-dependent dyno to the sloping lip of the boulder. Stick it and top out on good holds.

Pads and a spotter.

I was looking at this the other day, doesnt the slab get in the way? what are you using for the feet to make the slab not be a major issue?

The slab happens to be where you'd LIKE your foot to be, but it's actually not in the way. Once you get your right foot on one of the good holds and pull off the ground, you can paste your left foot in numerous places before jumping up and right to the sloper.

I have to agree with Jeremiah that this seems/feels quite height dependent. For me, personally, I have a hard time calling this anything easier than v4. As someone who has climbed substantially harder than this, I can only do this problem like once every million tries. (At least it feels that way!) It might be v2 if you're Manute Bol...

This climb is so awkward and frustrating for me!

I figured out better beta for my feet so this climb is not as frustrating as before. I might even like it a little now.
