Girls Mt. is made for powder skiing! It is best to make an ascent of this peak when there is enough snow on the ground to cover up the brush down low and make for easier travel, although you can hike up the pipeline access road in the late spring/summer to minimize the bush whack to Alaska Grade 2+ Bush Whack.

Getting There 

Park at mile marker 29, there is ample places for parking along the road here.

Girls Glacier 3rd 1- 1 I 1 M 1a  Alaska : Anchorage & South Central I... : ... : Girls Mt.
Park at mile marker 29 and most likely you will be able to follow a skin track or snow machine track up onto the Girls Glacier. The one big draw back to this area is that it sees a lot of snowmachine traffic(tar-heads) and this can pose a danger as both skinners/climbers and tar-heads use the same avi prone area to access the glacier at 4500ft.
