Fun Terminal!!! Photo by Bennett Barthelemy.

Closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection MORE INFO >>>

Description

This is a great novelty sport climb up the NW arete of the Killer Pillar. It follows the heavily featured arete up cobble stones and patina edges. The rock is very steep, and the crux, a boulder problem through a roof halfway up, packs a lot of exposure.

Location

Rap in from bolts on top of the Killer Pillar to a pedestal belay stance at the base of the route. Depending on where you rap, you may have to clip in to bolts to stay into the wall.

Protection

Draws. A few long slings to extend the anchor over the edge.

Did you find the top of Elephant Rock at least? From the end of the climbers trail continue straight passing near the summit, and then walk a bit left down some slabs. If you come to the edge of the cliff and aren't ontop of the Killer Pillar, then you'll probably at least have a vantage point where you can see it. Be careful to not knock anything down, as there could be parties far below.
