Description Suggest change

Hoards of tourists wander into Füssen everyday to make their way to the lavish castles of König Ludwig II, of which, two that are well worth the visit lie a short bus ride from Füssen.

There are at least 17 crags in the Füssen area, making it possibly the section with the highest concentration of climbs in the Allgäu/Bayerisch Schwaben area. Take a break and enjoy time in Hohenschwangau where people and castle watching is rich.

There are two huts in the area maintained by the DAV Sektion Füssen. Click here for info: alpenverein-fuessen.de/html… also check this site for info on the climbing community in Füssen.
