I have an awesome Waldo Safe Tech harness I'd like to sell, a super comfy harness that is great for hanging belays. I bought it new a few months ago and did two walls with it. This harness gets editor's choice for best wall harness at outdoor gear lab - outdoorgearlab.com/Big-Wall-Ha...

Unfortunately it just doesn't fit me. I got it on the small side, and I don't recommend that at all. My waist is 32inches, and I just barely should be in a medium.

It's this harness: moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/pro...

Always stored in a dry, sealed environment when not in use (in my haul bag). Will send photos if there's interest. Almost no signs of wear.

Cheers!

Hi, I'm trying to figure out my size in the Waldo harness (I'm living in Germany right now so there's not really anywhere I can try one on). Does the small/medium/large split compare to other harnesses, or would you say that the Waldo runs large? I normally wear size 30 or 31 jeans and I generally buy medium harnesses, but the Waldo specs on the Metolius website show larger sizes than their other harnesses. Thanks! Glass Tupperware

I'd recommend you buy a medium. The padding on the buckle side of the harness has a neat little under-tuck strap so that if there's too much padding it won't get in the way. If you get a small, like I did, you may end up with no padding on your buckle-side hip bone. After two walls, I have scars :P Cameron Saul
