Maybe this area is not new but it hasn't been climbed for sometime. There is a 30+' wall and boulders. Great area to hang out for the day.

Getting There

Park at the end of Burma Road and walk the rest of the way to the fence entering the Sauk Prairie Recreational Area. Continue straight on the paved road till you get to the T-intersection and a emergency sign 2S.

Sure looks like DNR land if your gps location is correct (technically, not Devils Lake). You ought to be able to drive to that location whenever the main gate to Sauk Prairie Rec Area is open.

Thanks Doug. I tried to be clear in the description that it was located in the Sauk Prairie Rec Area. I also put it under "areas near by". If you think that SPRA needs to be added as a new location. Please feel free to make that change.

Went to this spot today for the first time and did a few easy boulder problems. Since this was on the Badger plant grounds, before being taken over by the state, I would be surprised if it has seen a lot of traffic over the years. Cool conglomerate rock with good potential for problems. Some of them steep! Be careful as some of the rock looked loose.
