Description

This is another slab off the large ledge at the base of the upper tier. It is the first route left of PBR P2.

Start just left of PBR and go through a couple of slightly steeper slab sections, go over a tiny roof, then into the grooves and shallow corners that make up the top half of the pitch.

Like the Negotiator this is a long pitch. Unlike the Negotiator it doesn't have an intermediate anchor so it can't be done as two shorter pitches.

Standard PSOM edging and smearing. Decent enough route, although it has the typical PSOM issue with some flakey spots.

Location

First route left of PBR Street Gang. Two rapps to get off, use the PBR P2 station for the second rapp.

Protection

14 bolts. Shares anchor with The Negotiator (rings.)

Compared to the ratings on the rest of this area, this one definitely felt a bit baggy. Very grainy friction climbing felt solidly in the .10 range. Maybe the rating will come back to reality once the graininess settles?
