BETA PHOTO: thanks to someone for making this topo.

Granitic slab climbing on a north facing wall of Choirboy or Stegosaurus Butte. Several routes between 5.9 and 5.12 bolted, some go on for a second pitch but expect grime as not alot of traffic. two 60m ropes to rap, pitches are nice and long.

Getting There

About 13 miles up the Middle fork of the Snoqualmie river [from the end of the pavement], start hiking up river at the Middle fork river trailhead, crossing the river on the million dollar foot bridge. Hike up river through some proper cedars for about two miles watching for a prominent slab on the right.

Visited Fee Demo Wall a couple years ago, and for what it is worth, I think this is an excellent little slab area. The setting is gorgeous, the rock perfect, and the pitches looooooong!

The topo added by rivercat is outdated. The trees in the middle of the slab are now gone, with a whitewashed layer replacing them. One of the lowest bolts on "Wonderful World of Wreckreation" has been damaged to the point of unsafety.

Distance to base of climbs is a maximum of 1 mile from start of trailhead (someone earlier posted the distance as two miles).
