Chuck on Ronald McDonald

Description

Start at an often wet rail to a series of good horizontals and bulges eventually leading to a shallow finger crack. Take care placing gear. Do a few hard moves toward jugs and easier ground to rap anchor.

Location

Bigfoot area. Right of Jolly Green Giant about 35 ft. Look for the attractive looking finger crack up high. Shares the same start as Big Red Shoes

Protection

2 bolts small nuts and cams to #1 camalot, bolted anchor

Ronald (chalkbag) was crushed by a trundled rock, which may or may not have been on purpose.

So far this is the only 5.10 I've onsighted in this area. Gear took some work leaving one good and pumped for the crux. Fun heady climbing :)

Fun moves and just enough protection. Do this route!

My only complaint is that this crack is too short! Fun little climb!
