Falls Area is a general name given to a large area that is centered around the Falls Parking Lot (the main parking lot to access Central City and most of the East Canyon Rim sport-climbing).

Boulders are extremely sparse in the area with a few lonely blocks sitting here and there. The area for purposes of classification on Mountain Project extends West across the road near the Cliff-Base trails and North as far as Cave trail. This would also include any blocks that sit south along the Falls Spur trail and in the streambed (which there are a few quality climbs nestled in there).

Getting There

Park in the Falls parking lot, and follow the specific directions to the boulder you want to visit.

In addition, there are several pocket-pulling top-outs, the thinnest one is maybe V3...[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
