Dorfy pulling the roof and shredding my rope.

Description

An aboslute classic - and way fun.

Up easily, but with trepidation to the roof and boldly pull over it to gain a position on the wall above, straight up this using pockets and flakes to tricky moves (crux) and flaming forearms to finish.

Location

Left side of the buttress - basically the roof at its widest

Protection

Toprope

This was the most fun I've had on top rope at Stoney! Not the easiest approach in the park, but well worth the effort. Really great variety of movement and climbing styles. Early crux is pulling the roof and the following sequence, but there was also some fun and challenging slab climbing towards the top. Built the anchor with 3 cams in a crack (not the greatest, but good enough). Bring loooooong anchor material and be prepared for rope drag.
