Description

EXTRAORDINARY HEROES was established on 9-11-15 in honor of the first responders that ran towards danger.
Ryan Chamberlain ask that the aka go to Andrew Ashcraft did not put down his saw when the Yarnell Fire swept his position.
When Ryan asked, I took off my white Be Better bracelet and tossed it to him. ABSOLUTLY! We both got a little choked up.
Ryan said he was the first kid to be nice to him when he moved into his elementry school.
After talking with one of my good friends about lifes struggles he shared Andrew's story with me. I now wear the bracelet to honor the Yarnell 19 and remind me to fight the good fight, to choose the right, and to each day Be Better!

Thank you for this Aaron. Even as a youth Andrew stood out to me as a particularly good person. Makes me wonder if there is credence to the saying 'only the good die young'. Be better.
