These two small slabs are located roughly across the Saco River from the spur road that leads to the Frankenstein Cliff/Arethusa Falls Road.
The slabs are named after Ethan and Abel Crawford, early inhabitants of Crawford Notch.
The slabs are visible from the Route 302 and are in Webster's 2nd edition guidebook.
