Just before the crux

This is such a great route, especially if you are looking for climbing tufas and stalactites at a very moderate grade. This route follows a wide crack system that is lined with tufas, there are smaller tufas on the face as well, and you traverse under a roof with small stalactites hanging from it that you use for hands. The crux of the route is traversing under the right side of the roof where the stalactites end and the feet are a bit smaller and more smooth. Start by stemming between the two walls on either side of the obvious crack, then quickly transition to climbing the face to the right of the crack while using the crack for your left hand.

This route is the first route to the right of Chachi qui Chapi and follows the very obvious right leaning crack system.
