Greetings:

ACE had a very successful fundraiser for climbing access trails here in Eldo. ACE is awesome.

Over the next few months, I'll write a number of trail grant proposals in order to leverage the funds ACE raised.

On Sunday, 11/27 at a relaxed 10am, I'll go for a hike with anyone that would like to see some potential climbing access trail projects. The three main areas that seem most in need are:
1) The Wind Tower walkoff (towards the top, between the Wind Ridge and the rappels)
2) The descent walkoff between upper and lower Peanuts
3) A number of small & medium rebuild projects along the West Ridge.

If there's an access trail you have concerns about, this is your chance to speak up. You can comment in this here thread, or join me for a hike and chat.

Please PM me if you'd like to hike.

Peace

Hey -

Greg and I had a good hike. With some time and discussion, it's beginning to look like a descent trail between upper & lower Peanuts might be the best fit for some of the grants I'll apply for.

As always, if you've got concerns/questions about Eldo climbing access trails or hiking trails, or want to volunteer on same - PM me.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
