I've had climbers elbow for a while, and as a rule pretty week joints. Do you have any elbow braces you would recommend one to climb with? Mountainman

Definitely don't use an elbow brace- they dont do anything worthwhile.

Better to get some PT and work on your opposition muscles. There's tons of good literature out there, and alot of good docs or PTs that do ART/Graston as well.

I disagree. I have been dealing with lateral epicondyliss in both elbows for a long time. I have been doing the exercises, the PT, flexbars, icing, massage etc...everything I can think of to try and fix them, and some of it helps keep the pain to a lower level (it never seems to go away completely). But I have definitely found that a simple constriction brace helps keep it from flaring up.

Those copper fit ones are low profile and relatively cheap.

I use them at the onset of irritation and preemptively if I know I'll be climbing hard stuff.

My symptoms are pretty light, if its serious they might not be sufficient. Its simply the compression that helps.
