Easter Rock Climbing?

I've got about a week off around Easter this year, and I'm wondering if anyone has got any tips on good places in the Northeast to get some rock climbing in.  I don't mind the cold, but I'm trying to avoid a lot of ice/snow climbing.  I'm looking for places within a 5-hour drive of Boston.  I know this is kinda a tall order in the Northeast in April, but I've already got spring fever and want to get back on rock.  Thanks!

5 hours in a car won't get you too far.  No further then the Gunks - certainly not the New.  5 hours on a plane on the other hand.....  I made that trade ~30 years ago for April climbing trips out of Boston.

Unfortunately, a plane ticket isn't in the budget for this trip...

The Gunks is probably your best chance. If you like to boulder then Lincoln Woods in Rhode Island and places in CT and Western Ma may be good or not depends on the season.

I have had great Easter climbing at Rumney as well but again the weather here is just super variable.

People always underestimate the actual cost of riving a vehicle.  If you think its < $0.30/mile you are fooling yourself.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
