BETA PHOTO: East Gully shown.

The route gets steep near the top. Otherwise, easy snow.
Easy access, a good ski descent or fitness climb.

Getting there: The approach for the East Gully route is short, and on public property. From Minden, NV., take route 88, 6.5 miles, to route 206 (Fairview Lane). Turn right on 206 and drive another 1.7 miles to Faye Luther trailhead, on the left.

Trailhead is about 4800'
East Peak is 9880'
The first 2000' of trail is sandy scree. 3000' of snow to the East Peak. 4-29-17.

Crampons and axe. Too steep for snowshoes, near the top.
