Description

An enjoyable spring outing to the summit of Mt Irvine. Also likely the quickest, and most direct route to the summit.
About 2000' of moderate (30 degree) snow climbing up a prominent couloir. The top of the couloir deposits you very close to the summit. A short scramble along the ridge brings you to the summit

Location

Take the Meysan lakes trail, head up to the right of the lake. The obvious couloir to the right of the buttress.

Protection

Ice axe, crampons
