Not much more than the easiest way to get to the top of this boulder to set up a toprope. One bolt protects the crux mantel move about 12-15' off the deck.


The obvious, easiest way up East end of the biggest boulder in Santee.


One bolt. TR anchors on top to rap off, or downclimb. Rapping may require fresh slings for the anchors.

Cruised up today (Feb 1) and there are no slings to rap from. Ended up down climbing. If you are looking to rap, be sure to bring some webbing and whatnot (like it says in the route description above). Also, there is a big loose sketchy flake at the top of the south side.
