Description

This is the generally loose, wet and vegetated wall left of the Cat Wall. Nice ice climbing in the winter months!

Most routes here do not top out because the upper rock band is rotted due to water run-off fro mthe upper trails.

Getting There

60' left of the Cat Wall.

The obvious 3-foot wide chimney that is sometimes a fun, mixed ice climb. Can be loose and vegetated. Pitch 1: Climb the chimney, then pass through a ceiling at a notch. Belay.Pitch 2: Ascend a left facing corner, traverse right, then up and left through the clean ceiling at a crack.Bring extra webbing since there may not be a solid rappel station. Plenty of good trees at the top though....[more]   Browse More Classics in Pennsylvania
