I need some custom sewing work done. I'm looking for someone to sew some full strength bar tacks in some 8mm mammut dyneema slings . I'm guessing someone who does reslinging. Anyone know who should be into it?

Luke from Runout Customs ( runoutcustoms.com/) recently reslung and repaired triggers on a bunch of my cams. He did a fantastic job with a lightning-quick turnaround. Strongly recommended!

the 8mm takes special skill & equipment.....

Those mammut slings are sewn concentrically (one end inside the other) and are actually woven larger at one end to allow it. It might not even be feasible to get full strength with simple bartacks. I'd at least try to use the 10mm BD stuff instead, at least there you have a factory 'standard' bartack that you can try to duplicate. Care to tell us what your project is?

I'm making a set of lightweight leashes for my ice axes and I would like for the sewing to be full strength, but the leashes themselves will only be single stranded so I assume we're looking at somewhere around 11kn . No spinners, just the slings girth hitched to the harness, but the sling has to be tubular so I can thread some shock cord through them. I would prefer a sewn loop at each end to use for attaching to my ice tools

My question is: "who's got it?"
