Description

Start standing in the center of the tall slab, with the left hand on a gaston crimp and the right wherever. Head straight up the slab utilizing a shallow dish/pocket and good footwork to reach the juggy rail below the lip. Follow the rail up and left, topping out at the apex of the boulder.

I'm sure this climb has been done before. I feel like's it a purer and better option than 'North Slab', which is located to the left. And while it may be taller, the landing zone is much better.

Note that this problem can only be climbed when the stream bed is dry enough.

Location

Located in between 'The Riverbed' and 'North Slab', on the same boulder as 'Provia' and 'EZ Cheese'.

Protection

A couple of pads are ideal, especially if this is at or near your limit.

Glad you enjoyed it. I had forgotten all about it. A lot of people seem to avoid slabs, but my love affair with them has certainly contributed greatly to making me the climber I am today.

I agree-this is a great slab climb with very fun movement. It never gets the love it deserves due to its proximity with the oh-so-popular E-Z Cheese. I find it better than North Slab and about the same quality as Seinfield and E-Z Cheese/Swiss Cheese. So go get on it and see what you think!
