Description

It is very possible parts of this route have been done before but who knows. There's some amount of loose rock and pricker bushes to climb through but we mostly linked fun hand cracks on good stone. The third pitch finishes on a section of stacked blocks, and the last 1–2 rope lengths are kind of dangerous, but it's otherwise worth climbing. It gets morning shade and afternoon sun. See the topo.

Location

Start a little below the tire in the Dragon Point gully, a brief walk below the last rappel, and climb up to the Dragon Point Overlook. The first pitch is identified by broken face climbing leading to a left-facing corner (all hands and hard to see from the ground). The second pitch climbs an obvious splitter crack (hands to ow). This could be viewed from the top of Black Snake. I am pretty sure this route is located slightly up-gully from Black Adder and/or Pilgrimage, given that our route climbs just next to (and eventually crosses over and finally finishes in) the "prominent chimney feature" mentioned in Vic's book.

Protection

Small to #4-5.
