Description

The flow is "gently steep" until the last fifteen feet or so, when it gets quite steep. It looks like an easy escape is possible toward the right, but the ice there is very thin or nonexistent for the top-out; it's better to stay with the thick, steep ice all the way.

Location

This flow lies at the base of the "Diagonal Ramp" (for which it is named). The Black Arches Wall lies below and to the north slightly.
One can cut off the BAW path just before crossing the rockslide area, or about half-way through it to reach the base of this flow.
Descent: rappel or downclimb an easy gulch to climber's left.

Protection

16 - 19cm screws
