Access Issue: PRECIPITATION AND WET ROCK
Details
The sandstone here is easily damaged when wet. Please allow at least 24-48 hours before climbing after any precipitation. If the ground is at all damp, please do not climb on any local sandstone. Consider nearby options on basalt, limestone, granite, or plastic instead.
Description
Double Cross begins tough and ends tough. A very difficult start on pockets and thin crimps leads through a bulge and a hard to manage second clip, continue up and slightly left on more crimps and an occasional pocket. Work right along a shallow ledge and aim up and right into a small recess and shared chain anchor.
Location
Double Cross is right of Garden of Eden and left of The Cross. Double Cross is the fifth route in from the far left of the wall.
