I'm a documentary photographer who is very passionate about climbing and the outdoors. (I currently work part time at a gym in NYC while also being a freelance photographer.) I'll be going home to California this December for a few weeks and am wanting to continue my project about dirtbag climbing culture! You can see the beginnings of this project on my portfolio: christinabelasco.com/index/…
What I'm hoping to do is spend a "day in the life" with some of you wonderful folks and get some sweet climbing shots, portraits, and documentary/lifestyle shots wherever you are camping at.
I will be in the Bay Area and the Sacramento/Tahoe area. I will definitely be going to castle rock in Santa Cruz, Pinnacles, and some other spots near Tahoe depending on the weather. This is going to be a nation-wide project I am pursuing over the course of at least a year. I will send you copies of the pictures for your own personal use, and eventually I will pitch the project to a few magazines.
Let me know what you all think! If any of you are interested please contact me, we can work out all the logistics. :D My email is christina.belasco4@gmail.com
