Dude already copped to acting like a chode. You must not have read the thread. You probably don't even know what the difference between a chode and a taint is. You don't, do you? Look at you, you chodeass chode. Here's a hint to help you remember...A chode is what you suck, a taint is what you eat. Next time your pulling through a crux, think to yourself "A chode is what I suck, a taint is what I eat." It should help you a lot.

To perhaps bring this back on track a bit. This time of year there is lots of freeze thaw action. A nut that is welded one day could slide right out the next. Several times I have bootied gear that was like WTF how could someone not get this out???

Okay carry on the nut bashing.

and why is everything a "rig" now in climbing..*yawn*

Referring to a climb as a "rig" actually played out in the 90's. Was also used to refer to your dick. Didn't notice it made a comeback, but it'd be funny if it did.

Remember when a route (or rig) was "light?"
Late 90's on that too.
Orig referred to aid racks, but made it's way into trad difficulty talk.

It seemed to be replaced in jargon-fad popularity by "splitter" which went from Indian Creek style cracks and such to be applied to how nice the sky is on a day - or, ironically, to peerless slabs.
