Devil's Head Conditions

Is this area accessible yet? Will It be a snow trudge to get to Headstone or other nearby areas?

My friends said they tried to get out there yesterday and the road was closed due to snow.

But I had talked to someone who went a couple weeks ago and made it to Radiohead. So apparently this isn't the most useful reply. Haha. I'm trying to figure it out too, debating where in the south platte will be dry and warm this weekend.

We headed up to Devil's Head yesterday..... road was closed...whoollllle lot of snow. Icy/wet rock. Also snowed on us a little bit on the way out. No rock climbing happened... and the Subaru got stuck twice.

When you say that the road was closed, do you mean the gate was closed at 67? Or do you mean the gate a 1/4 mile from the trailhead was closed?
