Climbing the fin on De-Linked. Ian Smith on lead.

Description

Climb up to the fixed chain. Move right to pull through the roof. Layback up the lower edge of the wide crack, eventually stepping into the crack. Some slabby moves lead to the anchor.

Expect large amounts of rope drag if toproping.

Location

Starts in the right side of the alcove, at the top of the hand line.

Protection

13 bolts, fixed anchors

Severe rope drag on lead, and much worse on toprope. Recommend descent via rappel to minimize abuse to your rope.
