Just to the right of the regular start, climb past discontinuous flakes to a roof with a piton. A one inch piece backs this up nicely. Make a delicate move out left, then up past a bolt. Move left toward a jug and then join with Dave's Deviation.

A friend of mine pulled that pin in a fall! The gear he had below it protected him well enough and kept him of the deck.
