Description

A collection of quality routes from 10a to 11c with one of the most popular climbs at Thacher: Dragon Kite (10b). Dark Block tends to be steeper with more positive holds than the other walls at Thacher. The wall is divided part way up by a large ledge, routes on the left side tend to begin below this ledge, while routes on the right begin above it.

Getting There

From the divide between Horseshoe North and Hailes Cliff continue down the trail. Dark Block wall is reached a few minutes walk after the turn off for the Sunset Wall.
