anyone know what conditions are like on the Crystal Crag sport climbs, i.e. how much snow on the approach?
thanks

Was up there about 2 weeks ago, and the base of the North Arete was under 20+ feet of snow. There is also a 7 bolt climb next to it, I could only see the last bolt or 2.
I was up in the Lakes Basin just 2 days ago, and it looks like the routes that face southeast had a very small amount of dirt/rock showing at the base.
The approach will be all snow.

Conditions are still not great for climbing or hiking in and around the lakes basin.

The snow is retreating fast, but I think it'll be another 2-3 weeks before stuff is climbable.
