The crux is at the start of the route. A power move from good edges to a jug. Then technical balance moves to the anchors.

If you're not 6' tall, or close to it the first bolt is NOT an easy clip.

i'm 5'6" and the first clip was chill.....its well protected w/out the need to stick clip

If you feel nervous about clipping the first bolt, you can use the first bolt on Blasted in Black before clipping the first on Crimps and Slopers.

Absolutely loved this crimpy balance-y climb. Think: several one-legged squats in a row with sharp crimps for balance.
