Description

Start far right on the ledge that sits under the roof. Make your way left on sharp edges and finger cracks. Follow the crack as it ascends across the boulder. The feet are sparse! The crux comes about halfway through the problem, as you cling to sharp edges and try to find feet to complete the traverse. Keep climbing left until a finger crack reveals itself just above you, making a topout possible.

The descent is easy, a small hop off the back of the boulder.

Protection

A crash pad (or two).

When did you get the FA? A couple friends and myself climbed this crack back in 2004/5. At that time, there was evidence that it had been climbed. My understanding is that this crack has been climbed many times over.

Hi Tim,

I have no claim to the FA. Just a real fan of the problem and was disappointed to see that it did not appear on MP. Put my name in the slot because I knew someone would correct me and we might trace down the real FA.

Feel free to take the FA as well as suggest a different name!

There are a couple very good rests on this route. When I say "rests", I am including the sweet jams that come after to round the corner. Great problem!
