The rock here is very sharp, but there are a few very difficult highballs (25ft on a very overhung topout) on a beautiful flat landing). Nice view of the lake to the south.

Getting There

Park in the Coyote Ridge parking lot...just east of the ranger building down a paved road. Walk down the obvious trail to the lake and look left after 35-45 meters. Its the huge overhanging 25 footer to the left.

Climbing Season

For the South Platte area.

Weather station 1.4 miles from here

Located on the far right side of the overhang on the obvious outcropping. This route is a sit start up the flake/crack on the right side fo the rock. Pretty easy but fun start to an interesting fist crack topout. Good size rock on the right side of the landing so you may want a spot. Easiest route at the boulder (rating may be inaccurate since i don' t rate routes)....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
