Anne taking a look at the thin finger crack

RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. MORE INFO >>>

Good route left of Winter Heat. Fun climbing up dark varnished rock. Plenty of protection options to satisfy all your safety needs.

Find the thin seam that is continuous from the bottom to the top of the wall. It is to the left of Winter Heat. Winter Heat has a large scoop at the top.

Very nice tradionally protected climb, worth the trip up there. Cams up to 3-4 for the pockets on the first half, eats medium nuts on 2nd half. it looks much harder than it climbs.

Really fun route. We found both routes we did on this wall to be very fun and of very high quality. Can't wait to go back and do more on this wall!

A classic at the grade. Well worth the hike.

Maybe a difficult lead for beginning trads due to gear on the bottom half. Great route though.

Just left of CBS is NUTTIN COULD BE FINER (5.7) which may not be a good warm up for CBS. Initial pro is thin with non-trivial moves to follow. Gear improves higher. I took my time route finding to stay at the grade but found it no easier/harder than CBS. No anchor but a tree 50' over the lip. The lower tree has tat/no rings.
